    • Personality: Gentle, tranquil, and intelligent. They are friendly but typically not cuddly like a Cockatoo. They thrive on socialization and a calm, predictable environment. Females can be bossy, especially during breeding season. Noise: Generally considered one of the quieter large talking parrots. They are capable of learning to speak very well. Care: Require a large cage or aviary as they like to fly and climb. They are sensitive and do not thrive in chaotic or noisy environments (e.g., constant loud TV, barking dogs, screaming children). Prone to feather plucking if neglected. Lifespan: 30 to 50 years.
